Short Biography of Kian

Kian – Yeung Cheng Man (Macau) is a Communication and Media
Professional, targeting the advertisement industry in the fields of Video Production. Kian has work experience in marketing, education and Audiovisual production, which includes part-time teaching at Centro Diocesano de Sao Jose (CDSJ), camera operator in SmallWorld@Experience and market researcher at the Venetian Hotel.

Graduating in 2009 from the Saint Joseph High School in art and commerce, Kian undertook several short term courses and got certified on graphics, sound design and video production.

In 2013 will conclude a Licentiate degree in Communication and Media from the
University of Saint Joseph, accomplishing several academic and extracurricular
projects which include, photography work published in a collective exhibition at
Creative Macau, camera operation & audio/video editing in short film
production, animation as well as journalistic pieces such as profile essays and radio interviews.

Kian also developed several independent short film productions that have been presented publicly in local and international venues. I particular the Short Film “Once again a Chance” has been selected for screening in July 2012 at the Serralves Museum in Porto, Portugal.

In the long term Kian expects to build upon the experience from that past and lead original and innovative creative projects in the audiovisual industry, conveying a vision that results from academic experience and reaching out to the local community in Macau.
